I'm going to be a Sri Lankan traditional Kandyan bride-Divyanka Tripathi [Pics & Videos]

TV actress Divyanka Tripathi (Ishita of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein) has gone for a short trip to Sri Lanka on 4th January.To take out time from her hectic shooting schedules is not easy for her.On January 4th, 2016, Ye Hai Mohabbatein actress Divyanka Tripathi embarked on a trip to Sri Lanka for a ramp show.Squeezing time for extra work when she has to shoot for a daily soap is tough for her, but the actress willingly obliged the organisers in Sri Lanka.
Throwing light on her Sri Lankan trip, Divyanka said, "It is my second professional trip. I mostly have very short one or two days professional trips in India and abroad but they are always welcome as they are very refreshing work wise and mentally. We actor live a monotonous and strenuous life. It's important to break the cycle at times and do something different from the regular to maintain a healthy balance. It may or may not be a leisure trip, but different places, different people, different cultures give you a fresh perspective towards living."
The actress further adds,"They welcomed me with a grand Sri Lankan traditional performances. I had a prayer meet with the Buddhist monks. I enjoyed a lot."
The actress shared details of her bridal ramp show saying, "It was a bridal ramp show. My look was a Sri Lanka's traditional bride look. There is one picture of mine with a real Sri Lankan bride ready for her marriage. The dress weighed 17 kilograms with complete diamante work and combined with real 24k jewellery. I was undergoing a special 'bridal workout' owing to this very heavy dress."

It was a dream,a passion and it was a revolution.Expanding the boundaries of bridal dressing I dressed Indian super star Divyanka Thripati as a traditional Kandyan Bride. It was a challenge as it was a task that had to be completed her dress making and dressing within just 3 hours. I believe I successfully completed the challenge. The happiness in Divyanka's eyes was my success.
But her humbleness and cooperation made my job easy. She enjoyed the experience throughout her stay at Manaliyange Mahagedara. This humble star cooperated so much so I felt as I knew her for years. When she first saw the traditional set of jewelry she was so happy. She said it was a blessing for her.The main design of thejewelry was the cob web. Elegance deeply understood what I wanted and crafted it the best way.
.She said it was a major achievement in her life and I believe that this event was a turning point in my life too. Divyanka's Saree was designed with millions of swarovaski Stones. This particular stone is white in color. We used this to brighten up the color of the Traditional Kandyan jewelry set made by 22kt yellow gold. White color stones sharpened the color of the jewelry. So it was a great achievement in my career.
